Clasper Club

About Us

We are two brothers who have had the privilege of spending a few summers on Cape Cod.  Through all the work, internships, volunteering, and over sand beach days, we came out the other side with a company to help raise awareness and funding for shark research around the world!  Our unique slogan ("Ask Me About My Claspers") and design created by shark advocates, helps capture peoples' attention.  Through our contributions, we hope to generate conversation and knowledge about the critical role sharks play in the ocean’s ecosystem.  Join us on our journey by buying a shirt, bracelet, hat, sweatshirt, or sticker now!  And remember, 15% of profits go towards supporting shark research!

Why "Clasper Club"?

By definition, a clasper "is a pair of appendages under the abdomen of a male shark or ray" (Google).  These appendages are used during reproduction between a male and female shark or ray.  The name Clasper Club came to mind because of alliteration, its ability to roll off the tongue, and it's CC association with Cape Cod.  After several months we also came to the realization that our name and slogan both generate curiosity and an opportunity to spread awareness for shark research around the world.
